The Thompson Dental Team

Dr. Thompson began practice in Muskego in July 2003. As technology is improving dental care, he is committed to continuing education and lifelong learning for himself and his dental team. They are members of The Milwaukee Study Club, which is affiliated with the prestigious Seattle Study Club. The Milwaukee Study Club strives to raise the expertise of it members and ultimately, the level of dental care in the community.

Dr. Thompson completed his DDS at the University of Iowa, which included training abroad for a year in Denmark. While in Europe, he was influenced by the multi-disciplining approach to dentistry including periodontics, orthodontics, implantology and prosthetics. The multi-disciplining approach is central to the Seattle Study Club's philosophy of comprehensive treatment planning.

Dr. Thompson's community interests involve being a member of Kiwanis, Lions Club, Moose Lodge and is on the Board of Directors for the Muskego Chamber of Commerce. Dental leadership is important to Dr. Thompson and he is a past president for the Waukesha County Dental Society.

In addition to Dr. Thompson's professional responsibilities, he enjoys kite boarding, mountain biking, snowboarding and all water sports. He is an avid supporter of The Muskego Waterbugs and enjoys sponsoring a Muskego Athletic Association baseball team.

Angie, our Patient Treatment Coordinator, is another friendly face to greet you when you arrive.  She has worked in the dental field for 20 years. When Angie's in the office she enjoys working closely with the rest of the team at Thompson Dental. Patients love her for helping them understand their oral health and treatment options. 

Outside of the office Angie likes spending time with her family and friends. She loves the outdoors and will spend her time hiking, biking, and walking. Angie's also very creative and enjoys crafts! 

Jessie, our Senior Registered Dental Hygienist, graduated from dental hygiene school in 1997 and has been with Thompson Dental since 2009. Improving the overall health of her patients through education and a comprehensive approach to dental care is her goal. Jessie enjoys taking continuing dental education courses to stay abreast of changes in the health field. She is a delight to our patients and team members.  

Outside of the office, Jessie enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, their two beagles, and going to their cottage on weekends.  Ask her about cooking, yoga, or what she's reading.  You won't be disappointed!

Kim, our Registered Dental Hygienist, has worked in dentistry since 2008 and earned her degree in Dental Hygiene in 2018. She is well liked by our patients because of her gentle touch. Our patient care and patient's experience are Kim's top priority.  

When she is not in the office, Kim enjoys quality family time with her daughter, Gia, and her husband, Tony. You can find Kim working out, hiking, or kayaking.
